my little man is 3.5 months old. he has 5 feeds...

my little man is 3.5 months old. he has 5 feeds a day (3 brest and 2 bottle). he has recently started demanding bigger bottles, so i have been giving him an extra scoops worth, which he will finish. he is gaining a lot of weight (500 g/week) which is alot more than the average baby. he also watches us eat and lookslike he wants to eat. is he too young for solids because everything says not to start solids till 6 months.
